Back To Texas

This was probably my first time writing some blues that felt like it was really me. I remember I was playing a regular gig in a Dr. Who themed bar at the time and I slammed into the riff and the crowd went wild. I wrote a bunch of words for this one and just chopped away at them until all that was left was exactly what I wanted to say about my brand of living. I needed something to lean on and this song was the closer in my set for a couple of years.
